Q. How long have you been working in this industry?

A. I’m a newbie to the industry, and I have to say I’m loving every minute of it. I think I’m one of a clear minority of females in this space, selling MPS, printers and photocopiers.  Lots to learn about the hardware, equipment, the software – a new challenge and I’m getting to harness all my skills and bring them to bear in the print & photocopying industry.

Q. What do you love about this industry?

A. I’m particularly excited about the technology side of things and what MFDs can do to empower and enable businesses. The photocopier of old is now like a computer and there is so much that the MFD does that it didn’t do years ago. People tend to think of photocopiers as passé, so I’m now on a mission to change this mindset and inform people about the opportunities, be it in better processes, sustainability, security, GDPR, workflow management protocols. I do a lot of networking, so I’m really enjoying this also and getting the message of Highline Office Technology out there to the masses! I’ve just joined Network Ireland Wicklow Branch and South Dublin Chamber of Commerce – M50 B2B Group. I’ll join others as I get my bearing, but I really enjoy meeting new people and making great connections.

Q. Career highlight working with Highline Office Technology?

A. Probably too early to say, but I did make a sale in my first week which was nice. I’m doing a lot of work on the marketing also, which I really enjoy, particularly as I have great content from the team, around the service and product developments. For me, I get to combine sales, marketing and strategy, so I’m in my element.

Q. What sets Highline apart from the competition?

A. #ServiceExcellence – the team is really committed to the client base. They really go above and beyond.   As we are an SME, we are nimble and can react quickly to any challenges that arise.  There is always a willingness to learn and to do things better.  Businesses always have to adapt and change; to move with the times, and Highline is definitely doing this.  There is always introspection to see how we can improve our processes and make us greater – if we are one step ahead, then we can offer our clients superior service.

Q. What do you like about working in Highline?

A. Teamwork. The camaraderie. It’s a very relaxed environment. Everyone works hard but is so supportive of each other. It’s really a lovely culture.

Q. Favourite film?

A. Hard to say, as most of my films tend to be of the animated nature these days with the kids, but I do like a good run of the Bourne films, Star Wars and I’m also partial to be a good James Bond movie!

Q. Favourite food?

A. Food in general! I’m always hungry, and I have a sweet and a savoury tooth 😊

Q. Favourite song/band/singer?

A. I’d say as a genre, I’d go with pop music in general. Bruno Mars would be right up there at the moment and I get to listen to a lot of Justin Timberlake also, courtesy of Trolls, via my kids of course!

Q. What are your core strengths?

A. Networking, sales, marketing, strategy, business development – I’m a bit of a nerd really!

Q. 5 words to describe #TeamHOT

A. Focused, driven, service-orientated, fun, excellence.
